The Heart of Mercy

September 10th - October 22nd, 2017

Did you know the God’s mercy is his number one characteristic in the Bible? More than his sovereignty, his omniscience, his omnipotence, and his omnipresence—or any other fancy word about him—more than his anger, or justice, or judgment—more than any other quality! The number one attribute that is used to describe God in the Bible is his mercy.

“Yahweh! The LORD! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.” Exodus 34:6 (NLT)

"The LORD is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love." Psalm 145:8 (NLT)

The Heart of Mercy is an All Church, Seven-Week Spiritual Growth Campaign that will help us cultivate a heart of mercy as we learn to:

• Show love and compassion in tangible ways
• Forgive others unreservedly
• Help those who are hurting
• Be patient with those who are difficult
• Show kindness to enemies
• Care for those who are lost

Join us for our "OPEN GROUP" Wednesdays (Sep. 13th - Oct. 25th) at Old Town | 6pm - 7pm

Open Group is a chance for everyone to participate in a group that is welcoming and open to all.  If youare not in a group this is your chance to join us and get plugged in.  If you're in a group bring your group too!!!  Sign up below and let us know your coming and if you need child care.
