Embraced
Our Story
It was made evident by the leading of the Holy Spirit that many women in our community were suffering in silence, feeling isolated, unseen and unheard. We greeted each other on Sunday mornings with the familiar, “How are you? I’m fine, how are you?”
This type of greeting is always nice, but it no longer satisfied our deep thirst for authentic relationships.
In this new move of the Holy Spirit, He was calling us to risk being authentic, to stop pretending to have it all together so He could meet us in that place to love and heal us fully. The platform He used to begin this movement was at the first Embraced Conference in October 2016 at Old Town Church.
What is Embraced?
Embraced is designed to help women unmask hidden hurts and false identity by discovering who they truly are in Christ. This is accomplished through anointed Worship, prayer and authentic life stories shared through our Embraced Speakers. Each year we are blown away by His Presence as He reveals more and more of His Love for us. Everyone is welcome and we encourage you to come as you are!
